SNL Sends Up the VP Debate

The word “parody” literally means “song beside itself.”

Placing a thing beside itself.  That’s what the best forms of satire do.  By holding up a second object, you can no longer perceive the first - or receive its message - in the same way.

Tiny Fey looks and sounds so much like Sarah Palin it’s scary.  I don’t care what your politics are.  We try to leave that out of this site.  But I think these SNL skits have become such a phenomenon that they matter.  It wouldn’t surprise me if some old Republican sneaks into the studio next week and yanks out all the wires like that disgruntled soldier in Forrest Gump, and millions of television screens across America suddenly go blank.

In case you missed it.  Be prepared to laugh.

If the video is not appearing on your screen, you may view it here.

The funny thing is that the “jerk water” town of Scranton is currently in the process of tryong to assemble an assassination coup to kill Barack Obama Bin Lauden. Delaware is predominantly a McCain driven state and Biden is being questioned for his ethics regarding his lying on his political resume. As much as Palin is made to look like an idiot, she is the best candidate for president of the four…and that is really really sad!!!
