You may have missed this gem in the final minutes of the Phils’ 12-3 win over the Marlins last night:
“Yeah, he didn’t have a real pleasant stay here.” Indeed, Wheels. And the Pope shits in the woods.
On a related note, the Phillies had an off day last week, and Wheels was spotted at Merion Golf Club, the super-exclusive country club in Ardmore. My source reports that he tipped well, including the kid who carried his bag from the parking lot. When asked to describe Wheels’ general demeanor in one word, the source selected: “jolly.” So, in this instance anyway, Wheels, you get a thumbs up from me.
